This is not just a phrase but a reality to so many people.

I had a privilege of connecting with poetic soul in my show as a guest. She is a young woman who is very ambitious about life and the work she does. Lelethu Poetic Soul Mahambehlala is a lawyer by profession, but since the tender age she loved writing because that was a way of expressing what was inside her, so that made her tap into poetry fully. In her journey Poetic Soul became blind, but as she came to the show she didn’t speak about the blindness because that doesn’t define who she is and what she believes she is called for. To Poetic Soul words are not just words but an expression of what is inside “ this is not just poetry but an expression” it is to heal the person listening.
Having her as my guest was so inspiring to me because I saw a young woman who is full of life, who doesn’t see the challenge of being blind as an obstacle. She also emphasized that having a good support system from home has also played a huge part in her journey. She has release an album of beautiful poetry and she is also in the business of events planning, she recently hosted “ I am called” a documentary about the life and times of Lelethu Poetic Soul Mahambehlala here in Port Elizabeth
Poetic Soul reminded me that life is about working hard, finding what you are here for and regardless of what is happening you have to push your way up and achieve your goals. Enjoying life and seeing a bigger and better picture is what will keep you going.
